Is a tutor a good idea?<\/h1>\n

That depends.\u00a0 tutoring can be expensive.\u00a0 Have you tried all other supports available to you first?<\/p>\n

Most schools will offer some form of study support and that is a good place to start.<\/p>\n

Virtual Physics can help explain some of the concepts you might be experiencing problems with.<\/p>\n

e-Sgoil<\/a> have an excellent study support offering delivered free online.<\/p>\n

Scholar<\/a> is an excellent resource from Heriot Watt university available for free to anybody enrolled in a certificate course in Scotland – you just need your Glow log in.<\/p>\n

Some people will find that the existing supports arent enough or just benefit from 1:1 teaching rather than the group instruction that happens in classes.\u00a0 If that is the case, tutoring may be appropriate.<\/p>\n

Tutoring<\/h1>\n

I offer online tutoring via Teams to students from anywhere in Scotland.\u00a0 I have 10+ years teaching Physics at National 3, National 4, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels.\u00a0 I also have current experience of being a marker for the SQA exam and project.<\/p>\n

Rates are \u00a335 per hour.<\/p>\n
